چکیده

Let l be a prime number. In the present paper, we prove that the isomorphism class of an l-monodromically full hyperbolic curve of genus zero over a finitely generated extension of the field of rational numbers is completely determined by the kernel of the natural pro-l outer Galois representation associated to the hyperbolic curve. This result can be regarded as a genus zero analogue of a result due to S. Mochizuki which asserts that the isomorphism class of an elliptic curve which does not admit complex multiplication over a number field is completely determined by the kernels of the natural Galois representations on the various finite quotients of its Tate module.

On Monodromically Full Points of Configuration Spaces of Hyperbolic Curves

In the present paper, we introduce and discuss the notion of monodromically full points of configuration spaces of hyperbolic curves. This notion leads to complements to M. Matsumoto’s result concerning the difference between the kernels of the natural homomorphisms associated to a hyperbolic curve and its point from the Galois group to the automorphism and outer automorphism groups of the geom...

On Elementary Equivalence, Isomorphism and Isogeny of Arithmetic Function Fields

Motivated by recent work of Florian Pop, we study the connections between three notions of equivalence of function fields: isomorphism, elementary equivalence, and the condition that each of a pair of fields can be embedded in the other, which we call isogeny. Some of our results are purely geometric: we give an isogeny classification of Severi-Brauer varieties and quadric surfaces. These resul...

The sum-annihilating essential ideal graph of a commutative ring

Let $R$ be a commutative ring with identity. An ideal $I$ of a ring $R$is called an annihilating ideal if there exists $rin Rsetminus {0}$ such that $Ir=(0)$ and an ideal $I$ of$R$ is called an essential ideal if $I$ has non-zero intersectionwith every other non-zero ideal of $R$. Thesum-annihilating essential ideal graph of $R$, denoted by $mathcal{AE}_R$, isa graph whose vertex set is the set...

Correspondences on Hyperbolic Curves

We consider hyperbolic curves over an algebraically closed field k of characteristic zero. We call two such curves X, Y isogenous if there exists a nonempty scheme C , together with finite étale morphisms C → X, C → Y . (We refer to such a pair (C → X,C → Y ) as a correspondence from X to Y .) It is easy to see that the relation of isogeny is an equivalence relation on the set of isomorphism cl...

Absolute Anabelian Cuspidalizations of Proper Hyperbolic Curves

In this paper, we develop the theory of “cuspidalizations” of the étale fundamental group of a proper hyperbolic curve over a finite or nonarchimedean mixed-characteristic local field. The ultimate goal of this theory is the group-theoretic reconstruction of the étale fundamental group of an arbitrary open subscheme of the curve from the étale fundamental group of the full proper curve. We then...
